Bhutan Cuisine
Bhutanese dishes consist of steamed rice (red rice and white rice) with abundant choice of curries, both vegetarian and non vegetarian, and are usually hot and spicy. The most popular Bhutanese dish is "Ema Datsi" (Chilli Cheese) prepared entirely from chilies and cheese. This dish is distinctly Bhutanese and is very hot and spicy. Each region in Bhutan has its own specialty and you will get plenty of opportunity to taste its each delicacy that is truly Bhutanese.

The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) approved hotels and lodges usually serve buffet style meals with abundant choice of Continental, Bhutanese and Indian cuisine for the visitors. The meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) are included in tariff. Whenever possible, depending on the size of group and time availability, Bridge To Bhutan will provide the option to order food out of the menu.
